Meet Our Announcers Sandie Fischer Short Bio: Raised on a farm northeast of Monroe, attended a one room schoolhouse (District #17) from K-6th grade. Graduated from Humphrey High, member of St. Michael's Church in Tarnov, had a Platte Center telephone and was the oldest of 10 children (8 girls and 2 boys.) Married Bob Fischer of Cornlea, we have two sons: Daniel and Jesse. Started my career at KLIR in 1997 as a sales account manager and have faithfully shut of the alarm clock every morning at 4:00 am since 1999 to co-host the morning show. Work full-time at the Columbus Chamber of Commerce. I am responsible for all retail issues within the Chamber, and am Chamber events planner among other things. Fave Food: Nebraska steaks and pizza. Hobbies: Enjoy home improvement projects, flower gardening, antique and Coca-Cola collecting, community involvement and volunteering for different groups and organizations is my #1 on my list of things to do. Little Known Fact: The key chain that I use was given to me by my Grandpa Otto Schmidt when I was 16 years old and have been using the same one ever since. Pet Peeve: People that whine and complain - life is too short, enjoy every minute of it! Favorite KLIR Artist and why: The Cars would have to be my all-time favorite! Riley Scott Short Bio: Married, 1 husband, 2 sons, 2 cats. Pisces. Working on and constantly adding to my "25 Things I Want To Do Before I Die" list. Fave Food: lobster, chocolate (I'm not a cheap date, honey!) Hobbies: Reading, Movies, Music, Crafts, Yenta. Little Known Fact: I have a genius IQ, but never finished college. What You Wanted To Be When You Grew Up: Either a ballerina or a shoe salesman. It's all about the feet, babe! Pet Peeve: Rude, ungracious, self-pitying people.
